Busy British genre studio Shogun Films has revealed the key art for their forthcoming horror movie GUY FAWKES: BLOOD & FIRE which is scheduled for release around early November to tie-in with the UK’s Bonfire Night celebration commemorating the capture of the real Fawkes. The fiery one sheet features stars Jeanine Nerissa Sothcott and Charlie Woodward as well as the sinister Fawkes mask, underneath which is actor Paul Terry. GUY FAWKES: BLOOD & FIRE is written by Dominic Philpot and directed by Benjamin David.
Shogun has also announced a novelisation by Philpot which expands on his screenplay to be published in advance of the film’s release by renowned indie publisher Caffeine Nights Publishing.

Darren Laws, publisher at Caffeine Nights Publishing said “working with Jonathan again has been a genuine pleasure – we’ve always shared a passion for bold, character driven storytelling. Dominc’s novelisation was a joy to publish: his writing is so sharp and fully realised that he left me remarkably little to do. The film promises to be a thrilling ride and, I believe, another foundation stone in Shogun’s growing empire of modern British classics.”
Shogun Films Chairman Jonathan Sothcott said “We’re excited to bring Guy Fawkes back to life with a supernatural twist via a fully loaded transmedia entertainment landscape. Dom’s story has more to it than we could squeeze into a film, he’s a great writer and this story has so many layers and great characters it will be a guaranteed page turner. It’s also a joy to reunite with Darren Laws at Caffeine Nights who published the successful novelisations of my films Vendetta and We Still Kill The Old Way and are the home of the UK’s number one cult horror author Shaun Hutson: we share many values and aspirations and are both committed to physical media and great storytelling.”
Guy Fawkes: Blood & Fire will be released by Trinity Content Partners worldwide in November 2026.
