Martin Kemp faced up against creepy crawlies in I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here, but here in brand-new horror Doctor Plague he will take on an even more terrifying task – stopping a sinister masked killer slicing through London.

Doctor Plague from Shogun Films is approaching its release on 12 January from Miracle Media.

Pop icon and screen favourite Martin Kemp (The Krays, Eastenders) leads this mystery killer chiller, with Peter Woodward (The Patriot), David Yip (A View To A Kill), Jeanine Nerissa Sothcott (Helloween), Wendy Glenn (You’re Next), Daisy Beaumont (The World Is Not Enough), Gary Webster (Family Affairs, Eastenders) and Michael McKell (Allied) rounding out the cast. Produced by Shogun Films, Doctor Plague makes its UK debut on digital 12 January, courtesy of Miracle Media.

Cynical London detective John Verney (Kemp) is on the trail of an ominous masked serial killer cutting a swathe through London under the guise of a 17th century Plague Doctor. As the bodies pile up, John faces scrutiny from his superior (Yip) who dismisses the crimes as gang killings. To make matters worse, journalists, desperate for a news story, are fearmongering with explosive headlines and outlandish social media videos encouraging public unrest. As the pressure mounts, John falls into a terrifying web of deception and deadly rituals involving secret cults, Jack the Ripper and the Plague Doctors of old.

When his son is kidnapped and his colleagues turn against him, John must take the law into his own hands, risking everything to uncover the ancient evil lurking within the tunnels beneath the city.

Get ready to repent or die as the devilish cult of Doctor Plague is coming for you. The doctor will see you now…
